How can I tell if it's black mold?

Because many types of mold can produce allergens and irritants, you should contact a qualified mold remediation company regardless of the color or type of mold. Understanding Mold

When water enters your home, mold growth can begin in as little as 48 hours. Consider the following facts about mold:

Mold occurs almost everywhere, indoors and outdoors.

Mold spores are microscopic, suspended in the air and can enter your home through windows, doors or AC /heating systems or even be carried on your clothing or a pet.

Mold spores thrive on moisture. Mold spores can quickly grow into colonies when they come in contact with water. These colonies can produce toxins that are harmful to people and pets.

Before mold remediation can begin, all sources of water or moisture must be eliminated. Otherwise, the mold may return.

Mold often produces a strong, musty odor, and this odor can lead you to potential mold problem areas.

Higher than average indoor humidity can also promote mold growth. Keep indoor humidity levels below 45 percent.

Mold is very common in the home. They appear in places with high humidity, such as behind corners, ceilings, and wall coverings, and are difficult to remove. Especially in summer, they will quickly spoil food and produce a musty smell. Here is a new method for removing mold. I hope this is useful.
